COMMUNITY & PARENT EDUCATION: AN EVENING CONVERSATION WITH PARENTS

This conversation was part of a monthly series of community forums and workshops focused on various education-related topics such as writing, assessment, and college. The focus of this particular talk was writing and learning. You will hear me speak from two perspectives: social science and technology. I share my personal experiences with writing and learning, my philosophy on skill development, specific methods and tools for supporting writing, and specific recommendations for parents to consider when supporting a child’s development as a writer.

Say It Loud: Episode 7

Say It Loud was a weekly program that featured the members of the school community that identify as People of Color. Guests of the show shared their experiences as adolescents and reflected on their interests and influences.
